Attorney Bio

Alejandra I. Vilchis
Attorney at Law

___________________________________________________________________________________________________
I am the daughter of Mexican immigrants and I speak Spanish. Born and raised in Chicago, I saw a need for quality legal services that were accessible and affordable especially within the Latino community. I currently live in Chicago with my husband, a Chicago Police Officer, and our two young children.
I provide legal services for family law matters including premarital agreements, divorce, child support issues, and adoptions. During law school, I clerked for family law practitioners and received one-on-one guidance from experienced attorneys. I opened my own law firm in 2014 and provide reasonable hourly rates, flat rate fees, and payment plans as options to my clients. I currently volunteer my time at Chicago Volunteer Legal Services. I attended The John Marshall Law School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to law school, I successfully worked in the field of landscape design and maintenance within the Chicagoland area.
